MILL
- LEAT WEDDING BLESSINGS & COMMEMORATIONS |
FOR
COUPLES NEGOTIATING OR CELEBRATING LIFE-LONG PARTNERSHIPS
Marriage
is one of life’s greatest occasions, a cause for great joy and
celebration. It is also a time of solemnity, an exchange of promises
of commitment and of life-long partnership. It’s easy to get caught
up in the frenetic planning of festivities, only to neglect the most
significant part of the process, the very reason for the happy event.
Such momentous decisions and promises shared in the company of loved
ones deserve the necessary time and space for serious reflection, planning,
and administering.
Based in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons National park in Southern
Wales, Mill-Leat offers tailor-made services of blessing and rites of
passage, for couples seeking to affirm their love and commitment to
one another, in the context of a meaningful and memorable occasion.

WHO
IS THE SERVICE FOR?
- Couples
seeking a registry office wedding, who would appreciate not only a
personal and spiritual ethos to the ceremony itself, but who would
also welcome an imaginative approach with creative ideas to making
the day a particularly special occasion.
- Partners
who have suffered divorce from a previous marriage, and who are seeking
God’s blessing and the support of loved ones, as they embark
on this new stage of their lives together.
- Those
who marry overseas and who might welcome the opportunity to celebrate
their union and celebrate their wedding in the company of family and
friends.
- Married
couples who have been through difficult times together, and who wish
to explore their relationship afresh and renew their marital vows.
- Partners of
a same sex union, seeking to bless their relationship and exchange
vows in the company and support of loved ones.
- Couples
wishing to celebrate a significant wedding anniversary and who would
like to express their joy and gratitude in a service of thanksgiving
and rededication.
- Those
who would like to conduct their ceremony in a special and meaningful
location.
We provide services for people from different cultures. We plan the
ceremony in consultation with you reflecting your particular needs
and circumstances combined with our ideas and experience. Our inspiration
is drawn from Christian beliefs and values.

for the kind of Service of Blessing that would be meaningful to you.
- Discuss possibilities
of a suitable date and setting for the ceremony, be this in the family
home or in a 'special' place.
