Situated in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons National Park, only 3 miles from the market town of Brecon, Felindre Cottage rests in an idyllic setting beside the River Cynrig to the front, and the mill-stream, winding through its beautiful gardens, to the rear.
Standing beside the old water mill, this welsh stone cottage is ideally positioned for people seeking to explore the spectacular scenery and rich diversity of wildlife in the picturesque mountains and waterways of Southern
Wales.

 

We offer 'home from home' hospitality for B&B guests and for those looking for a longer retreat or space break.

Waterfalls
We have 2 Doubles and 1 Single Room:
  • 1 Double ensuite bathroom.
  • 1 Double with private adjacent bathroom.
  • 1 Single with private adjacent bathroom.
  • Rooms come with tea & coffee making facilities and a television.


We offer a home cooked breakfast with freshly laid eggs and local produce (when in season).

There are a variety of local pubs and restaurants in the local vicinity, (The White Swan the picturesque neighbouring village of Llanfrynach, boasts a reputation for excellent food!) with local cinema, theatre and sports facilities in Brecon.

There's a wide range of easily accessible outdoor activities and leisure pursuits....something for everyone:-

  • Cruising on the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal.
  • Pony Trekking along ancient bridleways.
  • Sailing &  Water sports on Llangorse Lake.
  • Hill-climbing in the Beacons or gentler riverside walks .
  • Canoeing along the River Wye.
  • Cycling the Taff Trail from Brecon to Merthyr Tydfil .
  • Visiting Brecon Cathedral, local Museums and Art Galleries.
  • Exploring the wealth of Book shops at Hay-on-Wye.
  • Discovering local attractions: - e.g. The Dolaucothi Gold Mines & The National Show Caves of Dan yr Ogof.
  • Savouring the Blaen-y-Glyn, Caerfanell Waterfalls.

Felindre Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the stunning countryside of The Beacons as well as the Black Mountains. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens and riverside walks.
